Biography

Mark Rohrbach grew up in the Bear Creek area of Buck Township Pennsylvania (not far from Back Mountain in the Pocono Mountain Range), which, as you can image, is a rather rural environment.  The home he grew up in did not have a shower or potable water.  Shortly after graduating from high school, Mark entered the Army, where he served as an Airborne Ranger for more than 5 years.  Following his military service, Mark earned an MSCE (Soil Mechanics) degree from the University of Washington.

Today, Mark owns and runs his own engineering design firm, RAM GeoServices, located just south of Seattle, Washington. 

Technically, Mark focuses on solving unique and challenging (often contractor side) geotechnical and geo-structural design problems.
