I have taught Elementary Chinese and Chinese Culture at Northeast Normal University in China; Sophomore Chinese and HSK Level 1-6 at Dong-A University in Korea; Modern Chinese at the Second Foreign Language School Affiliated to Shanghai Normal University, Elementary and Intermediate Chinese at the University of Malaysia. Since 2016, I have been teaching PREK-12 Mandarin Chinese I -III at Lewiston Porter Central School District. No matter where I have taught—whether in China or abroad—I have always had a great rapport with my students and local communities. I have organized various cultural activities in each community I’ve lived in. At my current school, our annual Chinese New Year celebration has become a beloved local tradition. I’ve also been teaching Tai Chi classes in the community for many years. I have gained a wealth of teaching and living experience from these experiences. I am passionate about teaching and eager to share my cultural background and the experiences I’ve had around the world.
