After obtaining her medical degree, Fabiana Lucia Bassil began her PhD in March 2024 in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Erasmus MC. Her research focuses on developing minimally-invasive methods for prognostication and monitoring of uveal melanoma through the analysis of circulating tumour cells and circulating tumour DNA.
