Biography

Dr. Elizabeth A. Sanchez-Szepesi is the Director of Curriculum, Assessment, and Accountability at Woodland School District 50 in Gurnee, Illinois. She has 22 years of experience in bilingual and dual-language education. Elizabeth is a member of the Illinois Advisory Committee on Bilingual Education and is deeply committed to advocating for and preserving bilingual education, as well as educating students to develop cultural competency, enabling them to become successful and productive members of a global society.
