Biography

Yoo received his PhD in 2016 in inorganic materials chemistry from the Sogang University, and joined the KAERI in 2016. Yoo has contributed to the advancement of nanomaterials through his pioneering analytical techniques. His research has strongly enhanced the field of nano-science in terms of discovery of novel phenomena in colloidal nanomaterials, device development. In recognition of his hard work, he received the honor of magna cum laude as well as he won the "2014 Human Tech Paper Award" held by Samsung Electronics. Now, he developes the sequential separation of Tc, Nb, Fe, Sr and Ni from radioactive wastes.
