Biography

Brian DeMonia currently holds the position as Chief of the Safety, Security and Waste Management Branch. He has over thirty years of experience in the field of environmental management as an environmental compliance subject matter expert (SME), waste management SME and Project Manager. Prior to him joining DOE he held the position of Regional Environmental Protection Specialist with the Defense Logistics Agency. As an Environmental Scientist with DOE he has authored several successful technical proposals on behalf of the federal government on alternative treatment and disposal options.
