Biography

I am a professional engineer (civil engineering - University of Ottawa) and working as a Strategic Advisor at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, with close to 35 years of experience in regulating the nuclear industry in Canada. I have held several technical and senior management positions at the CNSC over the course of my career and have developed nuclear expert knowledge in many regulatory areas, including: licensing and compliance; legislation and policy development; waste management, emergency preparedness, radioactive sources and transport.
