Biography

Joined Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) in 1977 and engaged in operation management at Fukushima Daiichi NPS. Since 1979, in Charge of SCC countermeasures for BWRs at TEPCO Head Office. In 1983, stay in EPRI BWR Owner's Gr., at Palo Alto. After that, engaged in over all nuclear fuel cycle, especially radioactive waste disposal, and used fuel management at TEPCO. During that time, seconded to JNFL, assigned in safety review, construction, and public relations activities of Rokkasho Reprocessing Plant. From 2011 to 2013, President of Nuclear Fuel Transport. From 2010 to 2014, co-chair of IFNEC Reliable Nuclear Fuel Services WG. Since 2019, WMS Director.
