Biography

Martin G. Plys is a Member of the National Academy of Engineering. He is the Chief Technology Officer of Fauske & Associates, a Westinghouse Electric Company subsidiary. Dr. Plys assisted Toshiba in its War Room after the Fukushima accident, and he is actively working with TEPCO on Fukushima cleanup and with Sellafield MSSS and FGMSP. Dr. Plys is a key technical contributor at Hanford and DOE sites, notably tank farms, WTP, Cs/Sr capsule storage, and the Hanford Spent Nuclear Fuel Project. He earned his Sc.D. from MIT.
