Biography

Tim is a postgraduate student working in the Sharrad group at the University of Manchester. He received his masters in chemistry from the same institution in 2014 where he developed an interest in the chemistry of the f-elements. His research has focused on contamination of stainless steel by radionuclides in acidic environments. During his PhD he has collaborated with researchers at The University of Oviedo in Spain, KIT-INE in Karlsruhe, Germany and the NNL Central Lab at Sellafield, United Kingdom.
