Biography

Maegon Barlow is the Director of the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of Radiological Security, under the Office of Global Material Security. Since 2000, Ms. Barlow has worked on various nonproliferation programs at DOE/NNSA including exports controls, international safeguards and nuclear material security. In 2012-2013 Ms. Barlow also served overseas as the DOE Attaché in Islamabad, Pakistan. Ms. Barlow has a BA in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA in European Studies from the University of Sussex, and an LL.M in Public International Law from the University of Leiden.
