Biography

Annika Toenniessen has more than 20 years of strategic communications experience working in dynamic and high-profile environments. Her career includes positions on Capitol Hill, program offices at the Department of Energy, Washington, D.C. public affairs agencies and in-house at private sector companies. Most recently, Annika represents Fluor Corporation’s Government Group as the Director of External Communications where she coordinates and aligns corporate and project site communications with business development strategies and stakeholder engagement goals. Annika is a graduate of American University with Master’s degree in International Economics.
