Biography

A Jacobs Technical Fellow and Director of Nuclear Technology, Professor Paul Gilchrist has over 30 years experience in all aspects of the civil nuclear fuel cycle as well as experience in the UK defence sector. He has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Manchester and a PhD in Materials from Imperial College, London. In addition to his role with Jacobs in the UK, Professor Gilchrist teaches postgraduates at the Nuclear Decommissioning Centre for Doctoral Training.
