Biography

Nuclear Regulator for the Environment Agency, the lead regulatory organisation for environmental discharges and waste disposals from nuclear facilities in England. Current regulatory duties centre on Sellafield high hazard legacy facilities, with previous roles covering chemical reprocessing plants, effluent treatment plants, and non-nuclear uses of radioactive materials. Former project manager for the regulation of contaminated beach characterisation and clean-up. Previous roles in process development management in the chemicals industry.
