Biography

Jenny B. Chapman Associate Research Hydrogeologist, Division of Hydrologic Sciences, Desert Research Institute, University of Nevada System B.S. Geology from Sul Ross State University, Alpine, Texas, M.A. Geology from the University of Texas at Austin Ms. Chapman began her involvement in waste management issues as a graduate student working for the State of Texas regarding the Deaf Smith County proposed repository location, and moved on to hydrogeologic evaluations of the WIPP Project for the State of New Mexico. For the last 20 years, she has been with Desert Research Institute where she supports the DOE Environmental Management program with groundwater field and modeling investigations, risk assessments, and monitoring design for underground nuclear tests. Currently, she also supports the Office of Legacy Management, through Stoller Corporation. Member of the Hydrogeology Division of the Geological Society of America, Member of the American Geophysical Union
