Biography

Susan C. Brooks, PE is Technology Development Director for the Technical Solutions division of Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), combining mature TRL capabilities from HII, universities, research centers and strategic partners to answer DoE challenges. Susan joined HII in 2000, following 20-years in NY City at a private consulting firm. At HII she worked on the Ford-Class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier before leading the Washington-DC engineering office for 3-years. She is a member of the VA-chapter BoD for AIChE and ANS and President of the Peninsula Engineers Council, a consortium of 17 Virginia Peninsula societies and government agencies.
