Biography

Rich Davey is a chartered mechanical engineer with over 10 years' experience specializing in alpha decommissioning and waste management. He has been involved in a number of successful decommissioning and remediation projects in legacy facilities at Sellafield, including removal of orphan wastes and degraded gloveboxes. He has particular experience of remote operations and robotic equipment. He is now working in the waste management industry at the UK's national LLW repository in Cumbria.
