Biography

Yury Pokhitonov has graduated St. Petersburg's Technological University in 1970. From 1983 till 1993 he has taken up the post the chief of laboratory in Radiochemical Department at Radium Institute and the main scientific interests were reprocessing and HLW Management. In 2009 the Radium Institute and Pacific World Solutions (USA) began the Project on polymers usage for the immobilization of complex liquid radwaste types. The main object of this Project was the development of universal technology, which would allow improving environmental situation at nuclear sites of USA and Russia.
