Biography

The author studied chemistry at the University of Regensburg, Germany. Afterwards she gained her PhD at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Germany. Since 2013 she has been working for the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety in the division which is responsible for other aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle. Her focus lies on the management of low- and intermediate active waste.
