Biography

Christina Fischer served as the Staff Intern for the U.S. Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board during the summer of 2016. During that time, she worked on several projects pertaining to U.S. commercial dry cask storage. Previously, Christina worked as a Nuclear Fuel Services Engineer at Southern Nuclear and was the Fuel Lead for Plant Vogtle’s initial dry cask loading campaign. She holds a B.S. in Nuclear and Radiological Engineering from Georgia Tech and a M.A. in Public Affairs from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
