Biography

George E. Dials is an accomplished senior executive and acknowledged problem solver in the areas of national security, nuclear weapons /facilities/complex missions, and nuclear waste management/disposal. He has held a number of government and private industry positions in these arenas. As an Infantry Company commander in Vietnam, he distinguished himself in numerous combat operations and was highly decorated with the Silver Star, Bronze Star for Valor and 12 other awards. As a member of the SES , he served in a number of DOE positions including Manager of the DOE/CAO and WIPP. He was also the President/GM of the Y12 Nuclear Weapons Complex.
