Biography

An experienced, highly knowledgeable and pre-eminent professional in nuclear liabilities management, nuclear operations, programme management and regulation. Ron works across industry and government as a leading practitioner with customised methodologies delivering successful specialist consultancy in fuel reprocessing, spent fuel storage, decommissioning, radioactive waste management and reactor chemistry. Ron has over 34 years’ experience in the nuclear industry across a range of strategic, operational, technical and managerial disciplines including roles as the Dounreay Decommissioning Programme Manager, Head of the Planning Dept & Regulator Office and most recently as an embedded contractor supporting ONR’s GDA of the Westinghouse AP1000 and Hitach-GE UK ABWR.
