Biography

Aeronautical Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) for aviation training systems. Lead technical specialist and consulting engineer providing technical recommendations, identifying risk, and resolving technical and procurement issues for aerodynamics aspects of major fixed-wing and rotary aircraft training systems. Consultant for operational and research phases of programs involving analysis and/or modifications of flight simulations affecting fidelity, pilot workload, and performance requirements. Technical expertise focused on enhancing motion cueing and aerodynamics models to achieve flight fidelity necessary to support carrier landing qualification training. Motivational and instructional speaker at schools from elementary to university level, and in venues such as the Orlando Science Center, for groups sized from 20 to 200 students, teachers and parents on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) career fields and the engineering profession in particular, with a particular interest in reaching out to historically-underrepresented students to encourage them and provide a real-life example of future possibilities in pursuing a STEM education.
