Biography

Meredith Pitsch is a graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin. She is a research assistant in Dr. Mitch Pryor’s Nuclear and Applied Robotics Group (NRG) where she works with mobile robots in hazardous environments. Her research focuses on extending the utility of unsupervised mobile systems for long-term radiation contamination surveys. She has demonstrated her work at the DOE-EM Portsmouth Robotics Demo in 2016 and completed two internships for Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).
