Biography

Mike Thien [pronounced: Theen] is a professional engineer and project management professional working at Hanford for CH2M Hill Plateau Remediation Company. His formal education includes a B.S in Nuclear Engineering and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering. Mike has over 30 years of nuclear industry experience including the U.S. Navy, plutonium processing at Rocky Flats, and waste treatment technology management, and remote systems testing at Hanford. Recently Mike has managed technology implementation at Hanford's tank farms and is currently managing the testing and startup of remote soil remediation systems.
