Dr. Philip Long is an Associate research scientist in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University. Prior to this he worked as a robotics engineer at the Jules Verne Institute of Technological Research (IRT JV). He received a Ph.D. in robotics from Ecole Centrale de Nantes France, a master’s degree from the EMARO program and a Bachelor of Engineering from National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG). His research interests include modeling of robotic systems, sensor based control laws and human robot collaboration.
