Biography

He is a researcher in Hitachi, Ltd. He obtained a master degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tohoku University (2006). After graduating, he joined Nuclear Energy Systems Research Department of Hitachi, Ltd. Before the nuclear accident of Fukushima Daiichi, his research target was to develop inspection robots and the localization system. From FY2011, he has developed survey robots and measurement technologies used in severe environments. Now he is also studying robotics technologies for fuel debris removal work.
