Biography

I started working on sodium-cooled Fast Breeder Reactors in 1989 on sodium equipment (pump, instrumentation) in NOVATOME company, became later FRAMATOME company. For 20 years I have been working on the dismantling of the EDF FBR in Creys-Malville (Superphenix), France, mainly on the treatment of the 5500 tons of sodium. I contribute as Project Manager to FRAMATOME activities to perform design, procurement, installation and commissioning of facilities to drain, treat and dispose the bulk radioactive sodium of Superphenix. These activities were supplemented by residual sodium treatment operations on sodium equipment by carbonation.
