Arron Griffiths obtained two degrees (BSc & MSc) in Robotics at Plymouth University, after became a research assistant at Plymouth University, working in bipedal robotics research. He attend several international robotics events (FIRA & Robocup) gaining two world records. In 2015, he joined The University of Manchester, Robots for Extreme Environments group. For the first 18 months he was working as a research associate on the AVEXIS ROV project, which was design for restricted access ponds in nuclear environments. He currently developing a Continuous Autonomous Radiation Monitoring Assistance (CARMA) designed for large floor area within nuclear facilities. Which has successfully had two active trails on the Sellafield site.
