Biography

Main interest is in developing wasteforms and processes to treat “problematic” radioactive wastes such as: UK plutonium residues; surplus weapons plutonium; Idaho calcines, etc. Currently with GRI International working on projects demonstrating, at-scale processing, to increase the Technology Readiness Level of hot-isostatic pressing and other waste treatment technologies I have also returned to my field of ceramic engineering and am working with Gravitas Technologies (www.gravitas-tec.com) to industrialize the production of advanced materials for use in extreme environments in the aerospace, defence, industrial and nuclear fields.
