Biography

• An environmental chemist/radiological protection specialist by background, now a Principal Nuclear Safety Inspector in the UK’s Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR). The professional lead within ONR for Nuclear Liabilities Management, which includes radioactive waste maanegement, decommissioing and spent fuel maanagement. • Afeter nearly 20 years working for the UK nuclear generating company working and 7 years as a cosnusltant, I have been a regulator since 2009. • Work experience includes decommissioning and radioactive waste management strategy, technical assessment, safety cases, safety and environmental regulatory submissions, peer review, stakeholder communications and project/contractor management. • Experience of working on a range of nuclear facilities including operational and decommissioning
