Biography

Roxana O’Hara completed her MChem Chemistry (with External Placement at AkzoNobel) at the University of St Andrews in June 2014. Shortly after she joined The Explosions and Fire Research Group at London South Bank University to start PhD research on ‘maintaining the resilience of hydrogen safety systems under extreme events’ in conjunction with Sellafield Ltd. Her main research interests include hydrogen detection, safety, management and removal systems with a focus on passive visual hydrogen sensitive coatings.
