Biography

Dr. Simon Kwong is a chartered mechanical engineer, with a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Simon is a senior technologist at the UK National Nuclear Laboratory leading environmental modelling. He is currently the key technical lead in numerical modelling of groundwater flow and contaminant transport for waste disposal facilities and contaminated land applications. Simon has played a major technical role in a wide variety of projects including management of low and intermediate level radioactive wastes, remediation technologies and contaminated land assessments for nuclear licensed sites.
