Biography

Daniel A Gonzalez is the Radiological Services Manager for Navarro at the Nevada National Security Site. He received a Master’s Degree in Health Physics in 1984 from the University of Florida. Mr. Gonzalez became a Certified Health Physicist in October of 1992. He has been a health physicist in the Department of Energy’s nuclear weapons program for 33 years. His experience includes environmental monitoring, radiological engineering, operational health physics, and accelerator health physics. He is currently supporting the cleanup of plutonium contaminated soils at the Tonopah Test Range where several nuclear safety experiments were conducted in the 1960s.
