Biography

A forty-five year career in environmental science, technology and policy with experience in the public, private and academic sectors, with emphasis on radioactive and hazardous waste management. Founding Chairman of the US Department of Energy's Environmental Management Advisory Board; Charter Member of the Secretary of Energy's Advisory Board; member of the National Academy of Sciences Nuclear and Radiation Studies Board and several of its committees; and Chief Radiation Officer of the State of New Jersey during the Three Mile Island Accident. Board Certified Environmental Scientist in the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists. Honorary Doctor of Science degree.
