Biography

Steve Steranka After graduate studies at three Canadian universities in computer science, electronics, and instrumentation systems, and work on geophysical instruments, Steve began designing and manufacturing radiation detection systems. He created RadComm Systems Corporation in 1992; based in Ontario, it now has offices throughout the world. Over his 30-year career, he has provided over 4,000 large-scale radiation detection systems to both steel and metal recycling plants, waste handling facilities, demolition projects, and nuclear power plants, among others. He and his firm have extensive experience with a wide range of field installations, including designing customized solutions to meet customer specifications.
