Biography

Kerry Rod joined the SONGS decommissioning project in 2017 as the General Manager of Decommissioning Oversight . Previously the Decommissioning Manager at PG&E'S Humboldt Bay Power Plant for 9 years providing management oversight of the Civil Works project and directly responsible for transitioning the site from SAFSTOR to full-scale decommissioning early 2009 when PG&E self-performed. He has 35 years of experience in design, engineering, operations, and closure of commercial, military, and defense process facilities. He served in the Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program, a registered professional engineer in South Carolina, B.S. Nuclear Engineering, University of California at Berkeley.
