Biography

Karsten Müller has passed university studies in Materials Engineering and received a PhD in Applied Fracture Mechanics. He joined B.A.M 20 years ago and has been working in different engineering and scientific areas of materials engineering, research and development as well as component testing for dangerous goods safety technologies. As group leader of BAM’s test laboratory “Experimental Testing of Containers” Karsten is responsible for the mechanical and thermal assessment of packages and containers for radioactive materials within licensing approval in Germany but also by order of international customers and as engineering consultant.
