Biography

Ronnie Broughton is a Project and Engineering Manager for AREVA Federal Services. As the Project Manager for the Irradiated Component Removal Project, he managed the first-of-a-kind waste retrieval, packaging and disposal of irradiated components from the Oak Ridge Research Reactor to final disposition at WCS. As an Engineering Manager on a conceptual design effort for a liquid waste cementation project, he integrated technical details for three major operations: retrieval of liquid and sludge waste from underground tanks, transportation and cementation. Ronnie is a registered Professional Engineer with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.
