Biography

Ron King is the Program Manager for the Electric Power Research Institute’s (EPRI) Advanced Nuclear Technology program aimed at enabling and building confidence in new nuclear deployment through issues and technology to help overcome regulatory, economic, and technical barriers prior to licensing, construction and start-up. Ron has 27 years of experience in the nuclear power industry, with experience in steam generator chemical cleaning, outage services, software development, and now new nuclear development. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from Washington & Jefferson College and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
