Biography

Dr. Arturo Montoya, is an Assistant Professor with a dual appointment in the Civil and Environmental Engineering and Mechanical Engineering departments at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). He obtained all his degrees in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University: B.S. '07, M.S. '08, and Ph.D. '12. His research interests include computational modeling in civil engineering applications, advances in computational methods for solid mechanics, and deterioration of materials under corrosive environments.
