Biography

Russel Edge is returning to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), where he spent 17 years earlier in his career. His duties with DOE included management of the remediation of several Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action Project sites; program manager for the Long-Term Surveillance and Maintenance program, which was a partial precursor to the Office of Legacy Management; and groundwater program manager at Albuquerque, New Mexico, operations. Subsequently, he was employed by the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Sandia Site office as a program manager for the Laboratory Directed Research and Development program and point of contact for Nuclear Non-Proliferation program
