Biography

Camille Espivent holds an engineering degree from the Ecole des Mines de Nantes and a Master degree in nuclear safety from the Joseph Fourier University. She works at IRSN since 2011, where she has been participating in various safety evaluations of radioactive waste disposal, both surface and deep geological facilities. Her experience at IRSN includes the periodical safety review of a surface disposal facility, the development of the IRSN doctrine about reversibility for geological disposal risk evaluation and the leadership of a working group of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s project related to the safety case of geological disposal facilities.
