Biography

Dr. Holger Spann is Divisional Director for Waste Management at GNS in Germany. His responsibilities include the management of all low and intermediate level waste form German NPP and decommissioned waste. He holds a Master degree in Geophysics and received his Ph. D. from the Mining Academy Freiberg in Germany in 1986. Following his academic career, he has worked for E.ON, the largest German nuclear energy supplier in Germany. He has been in his current position at GNS in Essen, Germany, since 2015.
