Biography

Dr. Ram Venkataraman is employed as a Nuclear Safeguards Systems Scientist at the Nuclear security and Isotope Technology Division of Oak Ridge Dr. Venkataraman has been working in the field of radiation detection and measurements for more than two decades. In his current position, Ram's focus is on the R&D of technologies of interest in the field of Nuclear Safeguards and Security. Dr. Venkataraman has experience with several gamma and neutron measurement based Non-destructive waste assay systems. He is currently the chairman of ASTM Sub-Committee C26.10 Techniques.
