Biography

Daniel Schaper has been working for 4 years as technical expert in the field of radioactive waste management and quality control for the independent expert organization TÜV NORD EnSys in Hannover, Germany. He has a diploma in chemistry and a Ph.D. from the University of Hannover. His special areas of expertise are the expert monitoring and assessment of the qualification of waste treatment campaigns and review of waste package documentations according to the site-specific radiological safety requirements as well as requirements to nonradioactive harmful substances in waste packages of the German repository Konrad.
