Biography

Dr. Ewold Seeba is a graduate economist. He has held prominent leadership positions within the Federal Administration in the past. From 2014 to 2016, he was the first Acting President of the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management (BfE). From 2014 to 2017 he was also Head of the Central Department in the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB). He was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Federal company for radioactive waste disposal (BGE) in 2017 and is, among others, responsible for international affairs at BGE.
