Biography

Joni Grindstaff is the Deputy Assistant Manager/Federal Project Director for the WTP Project. She provides management oversight for the design, construction and start-up and commissioning of the WTP. She joined ORP in March 2011 as the FPD for Hanford’s single-shell tank retrieval project. Her federal career began in 2001 at the Nevada site before transferring to the Richland Operations Office in 2008. Joni has 18 years of experience managing environmental projects involving incineration, disposal, radioactive waste retrieval, transuranic waste projects, construction and start-up of nuclear facilities, and regulatory negotiations. She’s certified as a Project Management Professional.
