Biography

Bridget Ams works in the Difficult Waste group at the Los Alamos National Laboratory branch in Carlsbad, NM, supporting the Carlsbad Department of Energy Field Office. The Difficult Waste group addresses challenges encountered in the remediation, packaging, transportation, and certification of TRU waste for the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant. Bridget has a PhD in geochemistry from Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY, a master of science in geology from the University of Notre Dame, and a bachelor of science in geology from New Mexico State University.
