Biography

Mr. Scaglione has ~25 years of experience leading, developing, and implementing existing and advanced concepts for nuclear fuel cycle applications. He has particular expertise in spent fuel storage, transportation, and disposal of research reactor and commercial spent nuclear fuel (SNF) and high-level waste. He is a nuclear engineering subject matter expert in the development and use of applied methods for criticality safety, computational validation, radiation shielding, reactor analysis, and nuclear and radiological material security. Mr. Scaglione has extensive knowledge of different reactor concepts, fuel designs, operational environments, and regulations.
